I’ve been playing around with my demo reel, textures and a new meshed animation using my Flax character.
I’m not really a texture artist but I have found workflows that allow me to produce some fairly nice texture work. This example is more of a modeled texture using Max9, Zbrush and Photoshop.
Here’s a preview of the animation. I still have some tweaking to do but I thought it was far enough along to show a wip.

Went to the art con in Seattle on Monday and had a blast. With so much talent in one place it was almost to much to see.
I’ve also updated a few animations.

I added the creature animations I’ve been working on to the animation section. Got my hands on the Gears of War PC version and I’ve been poking around in the editor so I couldn’t resist creating a giant demon insect creature of my own. I’ll post the mesh after I get it closer to done.

I’m working on a dialogue animation with the audio from ATHF just for fun. I put up a quick WIP render of the animation but I really need to find a way to compress the video and audio. Had to squish it down really far to get a smaller file size.

I’ve been working on my rusty texturing skills and put up a test render in the w.i.p section. It still has a ways to go but it’s coming along, I’m also working on an animation set for the character as well which should be done some time soon.

Spent a few days revisiting my staff attack combo and cleaned up a lot of bits. I also added a move at the start and the end so it flows a bit better.
